For more than 35 years CJE SeniorLife (CJE) has provided quality programs and services to older adults, their families and caregivers throughout metropolitan Chicago and its suburbs.  Resources range from healthy aging programs to care management and home health services, all of which address the issues that often accompany aging.
 
CJE Senior­Life Adult Day Pro­grams provide older adults with a supervised, structured pro­gram in a group setting focusing on the potential of each partici­pant and giving caregivers a respite.

LIHEAP is a federally-funded program to help eligible low-income households meet their home heating and/or cooling needs. The U.S. Administration of Children and Families' Division of Energy Assistance in the Office of Community Services administers LIHEAP at the federal level.  On the local level, Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA) administer the program.  You can apply for LIHEAP assistance at local social service agencies.
